Hey guys , for a bit of fancy. The last model RR I built was Golden to Blackhawk in HO std gauge. I drove that route many times when I lived in the area, and fully understand how one takes their life in their own hands on Hwy 6 most any time of day or night. So in my fantasy world the State decided to rip up the hiway and put in a mass transit system. Well good ole RR lobbied to put in a steam RR and convinced the powers to do it. It was financed under the Rural Area Transit system ( the route of the what?) and had to be std gauge to handle the freight formerly trucked in. I got it built and it was a thrill to operate. Three years later I traded it all in for Train Siming, because it is tons cheaper. Too bad RR isn't still around today to influence getting it built from th meuseum to Blackhawk to give his stuff a real workout, might have to rebuild the K37. yeah dream on.
