Tom Atkinson

Former Cumbres & Toltec engineer, a long time railroader and great family freind, Tom Atkinson offically pulled the pin (aka Retired) yesterday, after 41 years of working on the railroad.

Of the railroads he worked for in that time were the Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy, Burlington Northern, Indiana HighRail, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR, Yadkin Valley RR in North Carlolina, Central Kansas RR, Rock and Rail in Colorado, Delta Southern in Louisiana, and the Alabama Southern RR.

Of all these railroads, the C&TS was his favorite to work for. Here's a big congradulations to Tom and best wishes in his retirement.
