Walt Disney World Railroad Ceremony

September 25, 2003 08:43PM
The Roger E. Broggie #3 was recently taken out of daily service here on the Walt Disney World Railroad, and rebuilt at the Tweetsie Shops in North Carolina. A special re-dedication ceremony is being planned at the Magic Kingdom, tentatively on the morning of October 21, and is expected to be a big event as Roy E. Disney, Roger Broggie, and Roger Broggie Jr. should all be attending.
If anyone will be down here in Florida next month I highly recommend trying to attend. I was able to participate in last years rededication of #4, and it was very well done. I would also like to extend a thank you to the Tweetsie crews on the locomotives, as they always do an excellent job.
