The Lady Edith was indeed operational at Pine Creek. It is 3' foot gauge and was a pleasure to operate. As a rather rare 4-4-0T, she was a bit hot in the cab. She was last operated if I remember correctly in the late 1990s. A boiler repair was halted as a result of new boiler laws implemented in NJ in 2002 and today she remains inoperable.
Edgar Mead was one of three partners who brought the Lady and a short train over from Ireland. They each eventually donated their shares to NJMT.
