The big one at 485 is one I'd sure like to see.

But getting to that one appears to be one of, if not the most difficult to get to of the surviving abandoned steel bridges. No easy access by road, and other then taking a kayak (if it's even deep enough there) down the river, it's going to be all private property to get to it by land.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this one was on land that was for sale in recent years. I seem to recall the ad (with a photo of that bridge) saying "own your own railroad bridge" grinning smiley

Since there doesn't appear to be any recent photo record of her, I probably should have saved that ad. I'm not 100% sure it was that bridge, but it sure looked like that one, and didn't really look like any of the others I've visited.
