Thanks Rick and Dave. I have all of the information that is probably out there but would allways like more. I have the blueprint from Maxwell and it hints at there being a double roof, a sheathing of roof boards with perlins in between another layer of roof boards.
The blueprint does'nt show this detail but the dimensions given makes me belive that the as built cars had this double roof. Do either of you know if this feature was built on the original box cars?
