Make sure you bring a confortable pair of work boots and a work jacket and gloves. You NEVER know what type of weather you will run into. Have seen shirtsleeve weather in May, and had LOTS of snow in others. Almost always you will find mud at that time.

You can view every work session since 04 under volunteer, if you look at session A&B, you will have a pretty good idea about what goes on before the railroad opens for the season.
