It is the 462 that you are speaking of and I hope Dennis doesn't mind a little quoting from his book, but "The 462 was the last K-27 to get a rebuild in 1929, and it didn't get any superheating because all the piston valve engines were not superheated at the time of their rebuild (except 455), but were all done in 1927 and 1928". So, it missed the boat I guess.
