Well done, Bill! Enjoyed it a lot. I'm jealous too, as I never got any shots of 844 in the passenger paint scheme, and you've got some good ones. :-)

I see that along about image #10 or so is a shot in Greeley that I think is one you took when we ran into each other for the State Fair train positioning move. Here's the one I mean: a gloomy late afternoon in Greeley - bit wider angle and on BW film.

BTW, I see that so far the only thing listed on the UP Steam schedule this year is the Frontier Days train, with 844 as motive power. I hope that's not the whole '08 schedule, and that there's still a chance for 3985 to re-appear this year.
