Gents,

In case you don't all ready know, the website of the Internet Archive has a number of railroad related items.

Under the Books you can find copies of Poor's Manual as well as books written concerning Railroading and its practical application.

The Films (and this is why I posted this here) has copies of promotional films from the New Haven, SP, Rock Island, NYC, and D&RGW.

THe D&RGW film begins with a nice run by of one of their broad gauge passenger trains. It is actually a 3-part travelogue of Utah titled "The Desert Empire. For those of you are interested in railroads in general, it is a great resource and (Except for the airtime) it's absolutely free. THis movie was shot when the D&RGW was using the "Rio Grande" Moffat Tunnel/Scenic Line herald.

The website is [www.internetarchive.org] . For the movies go to the "Moving Images" and type in "Railroads".

Have fun,

Rick
