WOW! There sure is a BUNCH of snow up there! Drifts up the side of the roofs. Imagine the amount of work those hearty souls who used to work up there went through not only to survive, but to keep the railroad running. They must have been
rough, tough, and buff!
Thanks Roger for the photos! Dave Ferro was thrilled to see the carman's house roof still standing. He says it needs LOTS of work this summer. Your one photo of the section house the drifts remind me of sand dunes.
