Oh the joys of mountain railroading!

John you are right. Although not as long as some N.G. lines, Roaring Camp is a very challanging and serious piece of railroad. Although not a true logging line, Roaring Camp's heritage is taken right from that of the Santa Cruz mountian logging shows of the past.

If any one wants to see a narrow gauge geard locomotive really work hard plan a visit to Roaring Camp. It is well worth the time

Roaring Camp is my home railroad.I grew up there. I too have worked this kind of clean up after a pacific storm.
