10:50 PM Extra west 487 (Kearins 33) – 489 (Nissen 48) arrives, 22 loads, 10 empties, 752 tons, caboose 04343 (Roberts).

11:15 PM Extra west rotary OY, engines 482-486, departs, caboose 04990.

11:25 PM Passenger extra west 475 departs, 6 cars.

11:35 PM Extra west 487 departs, light engine.

Notation on train sheet: "8:05 PM stuck in snow MP 297 (2 miles north of Volcano) Conway & Walsh advised at Tres Piedras No. 426 could get to Antonito and don't need helpers, banked fire, tied up. Tied up 1:50 AM “14 hours basis".
Additional notation on train sheet: "Tied up on Main track 297 on 14 hour basis. 1:50 AM Feb 12th at Antonito says did not go on duty again until 5:30 AM Feb 13th".
(So the cars were left at MP 297 until Feb 13, nothing done Feb 12 because that was a Sunday with no scheduled passenger service.)
Engines 472 (Rowe) and 476 (Thompson) left Alamosa doubleheaded light 7:10 PM (Feb 11) to help No. 426. With the crew of No. 426 reporting helpers not needed, they returned to Alamosa departing Antonito 9:25 PM.
