As you know Earl, I spent alot of time (with several others) when No. 18 was first returned to operation on the Grand Canyon Ry in 1989. It was always a great locomotive to both run and fire (heck, I could even keep it hot) and it was one of the most reliable steam locomotives I have ever been around. I never thought I would see it running in Colorado. Lots of memories for me with No. 18 and the GCRY. I know you guys will take good care of it (you better)!
