Re: Update on caboose 04990?

As of right now the City has no plans for 04990. We (The BCRHS) are trying to come up with some money to repair it. We cleaned out the debris, boarded up the window and door holes, stabilized the walls and remains of the cupola and tarped it up for the winter.

Given the response on this forum to our request for help back in July when 04990 went up in flames (for those of you not interested in digging through the archives here is the cliff's notes version; Boulder sucks, the BCRHS sucks for being in Boulder, Jason sucks and 04990 deserves to return to the earth from whence it came because its in Boulder, the BCRHS is working on it and jason is involved) it seemed as though the NGDF was not the arena in which to post information about 04990.

As for the BCRHS, we are still actice, just a little behind in the web site and newsletter departments. We have workdays on the 3rd Saturday of each month and are slowly working on all of our equipment.
