I will add your two cents to the $2,500 I have pledged to support outshopping #489 with a DARK green jacket for the 2008 season.

Better yet, I will match - up to $2,500 - any donations to the C&TS and/or The Friends for the purpose of providing #489 with a DARK green jacket for the 2008 season.

If those of us who support honoring D&RGW's s.g. passenger steam of the 1930s by painting C&TS n.g. passenger steam of the 2000s in a similar scheme all put our money where our mouths are, a green-jacketed #489 may yet come to be!
