Thanks. Looks like we found some pretty hard evidence, that would make sense to as the D&RG was just completing its standard gauging in 1890. If so this is as old a D&RG standard gauge car as I've seen. It is definetely pitite though, I knew I should have taken some measurements while I was out there. I can tell you that I'm 6'7" and can not stand up straight inside. Width also can not be more than 7 or 8 feet at the maximum. Awfully small standard gauge car. It would be interesting to know anything about the building habits or archetecture of Peninsular Cars. Hopefully I'll get some more detailed photos up some how soon. Thanks again.
