Jeff is correct about the builder of PM 1225. It was Lima. Of course the boy in "Polar Express" (voiced by Eddie Deezen who played the nerd with the puppet who looked just like him on the Ferris wheel in "1941") who starts with the "railfan facts" about the Polar Express engine, calls it a 1931 Baldwin. I can only suspect that the writers thought that "Baldwin" might be more recognizable to the general public than "Lima". Does anyone have a copy of the book and was the name of the builder ever discussed in the text?
