My Old Friend El Coke...."Model" Citizen?

June 01, 2001 07:34PM
Warning. The following deals with model railroading. If you don't like it, get over it.
I just recieved, with thanks to Erick Nelson, who lives back in the civilized world, my new copy of the May/June Gazette.
As always, I read the ads with as much interest as anything else, and lo and behold, on page no. 101 is an ad for "Model Citizens", which pictures two of the figures they sell in 1/4 inch and Large scale. One of them is unmistakably the great El Coke.
The other one I don't recognize, but there you go, Coke, immortalized in miniature.
I'll be dipped.
