Re: Paint Colors- looking for Tuscan Red

The Tuscan Red used by the D&SNGRR is custom blended by a company here in Durango. They were able to match a paint chip which was uncovered during one of the restorations in the CarShop.
We use an automotive paint, mixed for that color. However the company also sells Benjamin Moore Paint and could mix the color in that paint. Doing so is much less expensive. I suspect they would have a minimum quantity to mix, but you should ask. I know the pain of buying more than you'd ever need. Just today I bought a tube of caulk for the train layout in our museum. I needed about 2 Tablespoons, but to get the brown color needed, I had to buy the giant tube. Even though the big tube is only $4, it does seem a shame to have to buy it that way.
