According to the " Official Roster no.11 of the Denver and Rig Grande Western Railroad System and the Rio Grande Southern Railroad Company"
(1923, reprinted by CRRM 1998) page 128 the WU wire was 102.
On the RGS station listing the wires run from Ouray(Ou, Ay) to Ridgway(Wy, Ds) and then on to Durango(Dg, Du).

There is a note below the station list to the effect that:"No.102 wire works through to Grand Junction."
