Passed by the CRRM today and jotted down the builder plate info.
B-B 108/108 4GE764 390 HP
32658 July 1956
This is for the 130, 140 is SN 32657. These units were custom built for USG and are not U4B, but do look like them. Actually they are small tunnel motors.
The wiring diagram shows the motors on each truck are connected in series and the trucks connected in parallel. Guess these are considered 300 volt units.
The 15's motors are all connected in parallel across the main gen which makes them 600 volt motors if the man gen puts out 600 volts. Never put a voltmeter acrss the main gen to check it out.
