Upcoming Pacific Coast Railroad Event

On the weekend of Dec. 8-9, the Pacific Coast Railroad will be running rare public operations as part of History's Harvest's "A Visit to Christmas Past," a holiday festival being held at the Santa Margarita Ranch. The primary motive power will be Porter #3, with a possible appearance by Harpur #1. Other festivities include live music and caroling, wine tasting, a Dutch Oven cooking demo, and more.
The ranch is located just off Highway 101 in the town of Santa Margarita, about 10 minutes north of San Luis Obispo.
