So as the train left Leopard Creek heading South / East (which way on RGS) towards Telluride it had a total of 9 boxcars, a flat?, and four coal cars.
Boxcar D&RG #3248- contents unkown, 11 tons, bound for Telluride.
Boxcar D&RG #3510 - "Merchandise",5 tons, bound for ?.
Boxcar D&RG #3441 - "Merchandise",5 tons, bound for Rico.
Boxcar D&RG #3396 - "Merchandise",5 tons, bound for Coke Ovens.
Boxcar D&RG #4504 - "Merchandise",5 tons, bound for Telluride.
Boxcar D&RG #3202 - "Merchandise",5 tons, bound for Rico.
Boxcar D&RG #3170 - "Ore", 18 tons, bound for Durango.
Boxcar D&RG #3172 - "Ore", 23 tons, bound for Durango.
Flatcar? RGS #598 - "Rails", 11 tons, bound for Telluride.
Boxcar D&RG #3161 - "Oats", 12 tons, bound for Telluride.
Coalcar D&RG #9361 - "empty" - for Telluride.
Coalcar D&RG #1495 - "empty" - for Telluride.
Coalcar D&RG #9452 - "empty" - for Telluride.
Coalcar D&RG #9236 - "empty" - for Telluride.
Caboose RGS #404.

At Milepost 22 (Brown siding) the train set out two empty coal cars #9452 & #9236 off the back of the train.

At Milepost 27 (Placerville) the train dropped off the other tow empty coalcars # 9361 & #1495 off the back of the train and picked up coal car (gondola?) D&RG #1226, bound for Telluride, full of ?????, weighing 15 tons.

At Milepost 38 (Vance Junction) the train set out Boxcars #3441, #3396, #3202, #3170, #3172. Also loaded two "cases" on Boxcar #4504 on left side.

Heading on in to Telluride, the "Where taken" and Where left" columns are filled with a mark that looks like "aqr" or "aqx" or "ayr" with a number behind them, possible yard tracks in Telluride, because each one has a number behind it. Anyway as they entered the train picked up D&RG Coal Car #8744 with 15 tons of "COGR???" and D&RG Boxcar #3252 with 24 tons of "COGR" - these tow cars were "taken" at "agr0".

At "agr 8" the train dropped off all of the rest of the cars.

Notes:
Boxcar #3248 "bottom rod looks intranset?????" y-bros
Boxcar #3441 "short 2 bundles bailing twine"
Boxcar #3161 "INA WOOD"
Boxcar #1226 "T-Boy"
Boxcar #8744 "B&C co"
Boxcar #3252 "T.T. Co"

Also of intrest are numbers in teh "remarks" coulmun for three of the boxcars. All of the numbers are in sequence and match milepost markers for the RGS, Since all of these are "Merchandise Boxcars" I assume that the numbers represent stops made for cargo on those particular boxcars. They are as follows:

Boxcar #3441 - "17-27-30-33-45" (Sam's, Pacerville, Saw Pit, Vanadium,Telluride)
Boxcar #3396 - "17-21-27-30-33-38-45-47" (Sam's, Leonard, Placeville, Saw Pit, Vanadium, Vance Jct., Telluride, Pandora)
Boxcar #3202 - "22-27-29-38-47-53" (Brown, Placerville, Fall Creek, Vance jct., Matterhorn, Lizard Head)
Since this las Boxcar left our train at vance Junction, I can only think that these must be notes as to what will be taken off of the individual boxcar at given stations ahead of the train?
