I used my 200mm lens and had the camera on a tripod. Haven't tried shooting through the telescope yet. The camera was set up with aperature of 4, ISO 1600 and about a 3 second exposure. I used a remote to activate the shutter. One thing that I'd like to try is holding something in front of the lens and opening the shutter to let the vibrations settle down and then remove the lens sheild. It might make the shot a little crisper. The ISO setting of 1600 might also be introducing some extra noise. I'll have to experiment with some lower settings.
The best night for me so far was Monday. It seems like it was more defined in the scope. Now it looks fuzzier to me. I tried to look tonight but we have had light clouds all evening. Maybe I'll try driving out to a dark location this weekend. That shot was from my backyard which is very light polluted.
