Re: SVRy S wye

Part of the federal grant was assigned to the S Wye project. Unfortunately, the engineering estimates for building a replacement bridge over the river (the tail switch is actually part way on it) was substantially more than the available funding. The costs are somewhat high due to trying to build footings in dredge tailings, and not putting any piers or pilings in the river itself which requires Army Corps of Engineers approval. The preliminary engineering is done and paid for, but other funding is needed to actually build it.
