I've wondered about the SVRy tenders being pretty top heavy when loaded with wood as high as they could pile it. John McCutheon had asked recently about the SVRy mikes cap. and I found by scaling old pictures that they pile wood 75" or a little over 6' high above tender deck on 19 and 20. The SVRy supposedly maintainted there track very well and this has to be an indication that it was kept up to a high standard.
