In the 1939-42 period, 6 of the 15 K27's were scrapped or sold:
450 scrapped 1939, out of service since early 30's
451 " "
455 traded to RGS 1939
457 scrapped 1939, out of service since early 30's
458 sold to National Railways of Mexico, 1941
459 " "
460 Scrapped 1939, in service until 1938
The locomotives that were scrapped were all K27's that had never been superheated and/or converted to piston valves and walschert valve gear.
