Jerry: Nice of you to inquire about my back. A bit sore, but I'll survive. Who ever makes Ibuprofen might be a good stock tip after one of our work weekends. Don't want to be labeled a whiner, one must keep in mind the Sumpter Valley motto and slogan: "Suck it up, railroading's fun", and "WE CAN HANDLE IT, if you help us pick it up". Has anyone else noticed that our work parties don't seem to contain able bodied individual in their 20's to mid 30's. We were apart from Taylor and Casey who are both in their mid teens, 40 plus. We are missing something in the recruiting department. These work weekends are fun and rewarding as well as being work, and they offer a great chance for some hands on RR experience. I am sure the C&TS work sessions must be similar. It seems like more fans should lend a hand to make what they love to talk about a sustained happening thing.
