Jerry and I headed out of Baker one Sunday morning together but in seperate vehicles intending to stop at a couple points of interest along Hwy. 7 that were on the old mainline. Briggs was of course riding with Jerry. We stopped out near to the SVRy bridge abutments that are below Lockhart and the first thing Briggs did was to make a beeline at full tilt across a private bridge, snatch up the furry remains of some dead carcass in his mouth and return again at full tilt to prowdly show us what he found. I think he either spotted it from the truck or smelled it the moment the door opened. Glad he wuz riden with you Jerry! As I recall it took you quite a while to convince him to give the rather smelly "thing" up and get back in the truck. (Please donate generously to the "Buy Briggs Some Doggie Breath Freshner Fund".)
