Rio Grande book

Hello to all, I was recently @ a model railroad show in the Ft. Worth area & came upon this book , "Silver San Juan" (M.H.Ferrel) & thought it to be really neat book, until I asked the price. Like the old saying goe's, "if U have to ask the price U can't afford it"! Well the guy wanted well over $100 for it. Maybe I'm a cheap scate! but the dust jacket was not in the best of shape & it was not a first edition. I've looked on the internet & can't find anything cheaper than $100 bucks! Does anyone know or want to sell one cheaper. My next question is. will there be a train run on the 4th of December on the CT&S? I would like to ride it through the snow for the thrill of it! Also how far would they go? Thanks a bunch for any help, this is a great board!!
