I had used DeLorme mapping until Garmin bought the company and discontinued the Windows products, which I had finally got to work. Now I am using an Android program (subscription based), on a tablet, and can use USGS topo maps with live GPS display of location. This season blew out a lot of what was hoped to be done. Eventually I hope to have something worth sharing. The roads (?) in there can be confusing.
