Actually, it is a pretty short hike from the Osier road to the view point overlooking the Mud Tunnel in one direction and the Phantom Curve in the other. The main challenge is trying to remember which dead tree to start the hike/bushwhack from. The view point is about half way down the ridge dividing Phantom Curve and the Mud Tunnel approach, where there is a clear area in the trees. One can actually continue to track level, but the half way point is the most dramatic.
