(My apologies for this NNG posting, but I think the Camas Prairie deserves the title of "Honorary Narrow Gauge")
After turning out of Lapwai Canyon, the railroad climbed the side slope of Rock Canyon alternating between crossing wooden trestles and driving thru tunnels
Once on the rolling Camas Prairie, the railroad crossed numerous huge wooden trestles
Camas Prairie Railnet engine 2 in Grangeville for the last time on November 28, 2000. The engine has turned on the wye and will gather up the last cars for the final run to Lewiston. Camas Prairie trains were operated by the engineer on the locomotive, and the conductor driving a pick up to the switching locations. That is Jim Morefield in the red jacket, but the engineer's name escapes me at the moment.
