Re: Remembering Ernie - 493 and 497 east of Gato

Being a relatively newbie here, I've enjoyed all the work put in by folks here and I'm grateful that they are willing to share their photo and paper collections here on this forum. What really makes this forum special is the relaxed sense of humor that often accompany every thread. Very rarely are there "ruffled ego's" and even when it does happen, that sort of thing quickly vanishes. I hope Olaf doesn't mind me taking something he said out of context. When I read it, I had a good chuckle and couldn't resist posting. Thank you for all the time you have put in doing the scanning, and to Olaf for sharing his photos and experiences.
