That is correct. the SD-67 spike driver is not reconfigurable. They do offer the BR-45, the 45# breaker/jackhammer, that uses a hex shank bit with a latch in a "foremans" kit that has a spike driving tip, tamping tool and a standard point or a asphalt blade for clearing ice.
