I'm pretty sure the D&S does release ridership numbers (https://durangoherald.com/articles/77354-train-ridership-up-4-percent-this-year for example) though I have yet to hear the final numbers for 2016 (looks like they prjected 183,000).

I'm fairly certain that Yvonne reported the numbers for 2015 here in the NDGF before she retired.
