Thanks Bruce, the overlay is perfect. Here is a shot showing #11 on the original alignment with "Johnson's Jump Off" trestle and water tank. The location got it's name so the tradition goes from a section hand on a hand car that was about to have a head on with a train, so chose to jump off. In so doing, he broke his neck and presumably the guys last name was Johnson. Going back to Casey's post, I have thought the same thing, that is that the Alco Mike's must have tracked better as the Baldwin Mike's and #50 continued to have problems well after #19 and #20 went into service. I think the incident where 19/81 went into Summit Lake on the White Pass was caused by the cars behind it or do I have it wrong?
