I don't recall that we have records specifying the oil burning equipment used, but the AFE material does give the cost of conversion. One interesting point on the tenders used behind 250 and 251, is that the Baldwin tenders from 18 and 50 that went to the WP&Y with 19 and 20, had cast side frames on their trucks vs. arch bars on the Alco tenders and held 4000 gal. of water vs. 3500 on the Alco built ones. However the Baldwin tenders only weighed 31,571 vs. 74,000 on the Alco tenders. When the oil tanks were added the weight went up to 82,000. Apparently the Alco tenders had much more weight of steel in their frames and tanks, which must have trumped the added water capacity and seemingly better trucks on the Baldwin built ones.
