From the paint layers found on stock car #5672 and the remains of #5522, Randy Hees and I have found Princes' Mineral Color to be approximately Pantone 497C.
Here is an illustration of Stock Car #5500 based upon findings from both cars and the original D&RG painting and lettering diagram.
