Uintah loved to miss with their engines and make improvements. The 40 got a bigger tank, superheat, a non-lifting injector, and who know what else. They loved to fiddle with stuff. They did major surgery to the boilers on the articulateds when they were band new. They even built their own Shay out of spare parts.
