It was so dry that they sold it in boxes - six little packets in each. You'd tear the corner off a packet, pour the powder into a beer glass, add tap or mineral water or whatever - your choice - watch it fizz for a minute or three (kinda like Alka-Selzer) while the anhydrous ethylene reacted with the water to make alcohol,
* and then
. . . down the hatch!!
"Reingold" is German for 'pure gold', and pure gold is about the only thing that stuff couldn't dissolve!!
