I realize that the NG Group isn't the right place for a long drawnout discussion on this so this is my last comment on th subject.
The presence of an armed citizen generally resolves the problem without shots being fired.
It sorta takes the fun out of it when a criminal finds his victim can fight back.
Of the 4th plane, one passenger called his wife to tell her goodby and said that he and two others were going to try to take over the plane.
That's the kind of stuff the terrorists hadn't counted on.
In Israel,where every citizen is required to be
armed. 3 passengers shot a hijacker. But the one I like is the one in Japan where the pasengers mobbed the hijacker and sat on him until the plane landed.
