Steamers on the "Loop"

I stopped by the Georgetown on my way home from a "D" session and they were using the Shay...what happened to the steamers? Last time I rode the line (about 5+ years ago) there was an engine on static display in front of the old depot; it's gone. Last time I rode the line they were using a rod engine (consolidation? rescued from a line in S. America I think) and it too is gone. Only rod engine left is the number 9 looking none too good sitting on the siding just down from the yard (awaiting resto funds).
Very nice car restoration/storage facility they have there.....wish the C&TS could find a "rich uncle" for something like that....
