Coal Tipples

June 27, 2001 09:24AM
I need to do some writing about the Chama coal tipple tonite, and I bet one of you kind folks can short circuit my research while I am at work today. I know that the Chama coal tipple is not the only one of its type that existed on the Rio Grande narrow gauge. For instance, there was one in Durango. I know there was at least one other, but I'm not sure where. (Gunnison?) So my question: What other Rio Grande engine facilities had a tipple like the one in Chama?
Thanks.
