Parts for #315 From A Retired Engineer

I was a little bummed when I heard that #315 was
not using one of the "correct" Baldwin whistles in
light of the fact that I have a friend who owns
two of them, one a single chime from 1881 and one multi
chime similar to the one on the engine now. He would
sell one or both for the 315. BUT, and this is a big BUT,
after I heard 315's current whistle, (so nice) I hope
that one stays on. Or,if 315 had a second single chime
whistle, which she did carry at different times, I'm certain
that my friend would oblige. His name is David Passard. The dynamo and beautiful amber colored headlight reflector (and I believe
entire headlight) came from him. I think that the other light
on the tender was the one that was prefabricated.
