Here is a question for all of you NG gurus. On page 8 of R Robbs NG pictorial volume V there is a picture of caboose #60, on the Calumet branch (I think) The letterboard lettering has "Denver & Rio Grande" but if you look real close it is shadowed lettering similar to what was used on the passenger equipment pre 1890. My question(s) is this: Was this a one time application on #60 only? Are there photos of any other class I or even class II cabeese with shadowed lettering? I want to model this one in On3 and would like to know if this caboose got special treatment from the paint shop or if there are more like it.
