DRGW 315 made a flawless run Durango to Cascade Canyon and return today
(September 18) pulling several freight cars and two coaches. She has passed her required tests with flying colors and is now ready to pull the Trains Unlimited, Tours charter to Silverton on September 26 making history with the first revenue train into Silverton pulled by No. 315 in some 52 years. She will return to Durango on September 27 and then make a Cascade Canyon Turn on September 28. Tickets are still available for all three days or just one day if you like. TUT is running all three days at cost with most profits going to the Durango Railroad Historical Society after DSNG expenses. Each day will have a maximum of 45 railfans onboard.
