Fall Foliage and Photographers Weekend

It's almost time for the Sumpter Valley Railroad's Fall Foliage and Photographers Weekend. This is our seventh year of holding this entertaining event, and if you haven't participated yet, why not make 2007 the year? For the full weeekend of October 13th and 14th, 2007, two historic, and native, steam locomotives will be pulling authentic to the era freight and passenger trains through the beautiful fall colors of Eastern Oregon's scenic Sumpter Valley. The all day event begins at the McEwen station at 7:00 AM (Pacific Time), and concludes in the early evening. Ticket prices include a continental breakfast, lunch, and light refreshments throughout the day. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of film, batteries, and a jacket. If you love trains, photography, or just having fun, this is an event not to be missed! This years trains will run on both Saturday and Sunday, and tickets can be purchased for individual days, or you can save a few dollars with a weekend pass.
