315 did indeed move out of the roundhouse under her own power this evening, to much applause from the crowd. They trotted her out on the table, posed for a bunch of pictures, and went up past the ash pit to do a blowdown. A short while afterwards, however, as we were waiting for it to get dark, it was announced that they had to drop 315's fire and put her back for more work due to a safety issue. The words "plugged injector" were overheard by another member of the group, but I haven't heard that officially.
Steaming out of her stall (yes, I know, it's a crappy shot. Low light, high ISO, and I didn't have a spot in the front row, so I just raised the camera and fired... this was the best of the frames):
Rolling on to the table right at sunset:
A good number of DRHS members and others posing with 315:
Sitting on the turntable in twilight:
Sitting, along with a lit-up RGS 42, shortly before they moved her to drop the fire:
And, unfortunately back in the shop by the end of the night:
I'll post more when I get time, but figured you all might like to see a few sooner rather than later.
